I have been having a wonderful time in England.
Recently the English children held a 'Passport to Spain' celebration. After my visit to Madrid, I had lots to teach them.
First we made Paella using rice, garlic, saffron and fish. It had a wonderful aroma. It was hard work stirring with the spoon.
The children really enjoyed testing the recipe. Can you see that there is none left in the bowl?
Also, we made Spanish sangria with orange juice, grape juice and fruit pieces. Cheers!
In the afternoon I helped some of the children research Spanish weather. We compared it to the weather in Barnsley and the children produced tables and graphs on the computer.
Finally, Mr Ingman taught us how to play a Spanish melody on the cornets and baritones in our brass lesson. He said mine was the best he had ever heard!
Ta Ta for now (That's how they sometimes say goodbye in England!)
